i bought these on the 30th and the came on the 2nd! i love the colour and they curl great!. not a bad price for GHDs the only down side was the tip of the streightners they heat up for faster than my old black ones, and due to me not being aware i ended up burning my finger and got a blister ! ouch. needless to say i learned how to curl with one hand need to do it with streighting now!. there nice and light and because of the heat proof mat when i take them with me i dont need to wait for them to cool down. also the 30 minute turn off is great as every girl noes how it feels when ur out and you cant remeber if u left the streightners on!. excellant product except the tip but love them anyway! x

These irons have changed my life, compared to my old straighteners and others I have tried they take a quarter of the time to heat up, and give the silkiest hair. I love the colour, case and heat proof pouch. The beeps are useful if you get side tracked as I do...
If you straighten your hair (or would like to) you will be doing yourself an injustice by buying any other brand!

Absolutely perfect product. It straightens your hair without damaging it. I have natural afro-caribean hair and it worked like a charm. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I recently received a pair of ghd purple indulgence straighteners for my birthday and was very disappointed. I had a pair of ghd's when they first came out years ago and they were amazing, they were the only straignteners worth having. However now they seem to be trading on previous success, but the quality of the product is no longer what it use to be. The main issue I had with the pair I recently returned was that the plates did not touch all the way along resulting in my hair not being gripped by the plates, thus falling through without being straigtened. I emailed customer support at ghd about this issue but received no reply. I have checked other pairs in shops and they all have this design issue. Friends of mine have also moved away from ghd due to quality of the product compared to the price being charged. There are so many more better quality products on the market for considerably less.
