Pro Trek Triple Sensor November 30, 2008 masonk I have also used this watch over four or five years and found it great even when scuba diving. Every weekend for two years this watch went under sea water to 20-40m no worries and would still work (even now if I changed the batteries). The Compass worked great under water too and with enough accuracy to be safe - I'm still here afterall. But as other reviewers have hinted changing the strap & batteries is a hefty investment, nearly the price of a new watch. So I bought the Suunto X-Lander because of the ease & price of changing batteries especially when travelling because not only expensive to change batteries but hard to find someone to do the changing too. Guess the Lumi would appeal more now but it wasn't out at the time I had to buy a new watch rather than batteries.
VERY TOUGH WATCH November 5, 2008 Mr. M. H. Hope (UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
i have had this watch for 3 years and so far it has taken every hit, bump & scrape without any damage. but recently the watch battery died on me, and to replace the batteries (all three of them) costs in excess of 65. overall this watch is very tough looks good but will cost you when it comes time to replace the batteries.
WEATHER STATION ON YOUR WRIST!!!! June 23, 2008 Jason Thorne (England / Oxford) 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
This is a really nice piece of kit from a Casio which is a step up from the G Shock range. The price of these changes a great deal depending on were you look so don't go rushing into it have a look around. This watch is a weather station on your wrist it's got everything that would even make Michael Fish look twice. It has a massive face which is really easy to read and the functions are really easy to adjust and operate. It has a function were you tilt your wrist to see what time it is and that then turns on the back light so the watch face looks like a Christmas tree!! I have to say Casio really have designed a nice hard wearing watch here that is not over priced and it looks alot more than what you actually paid for it. If you are thinking about buying one of these go for it I really can't fault this which for me is amazing because everything I buy I always huff and puff about how it could be better.
