I ordered this item in a size larger on the recommendation of other buyers comments here and it is MUCH to big and I now have to go through the hassle of returning it - personally I would just order the size you are normally but the decision is ultimately yours...!
Really lovely quality jacket by the way - definitely recommended.

I also bought this jacket in Rose, It's a great jacket at a good price.I am a size 14 but I bought Large recommended by another of your customers,it fits perfectly. Normally I would have chosen a Medium, so the review helped me a lot in choosing the correct size.

This jacket is great. I am size 12 so a small fits perfectly. This is much better quality than many other jackets including some by musto, aigle and barbour. This is the second of this type of jacket I have bought (the first one got caught on a door handle and had a tear in the front)If you are not that bothered by the latest name brands then this is a great jacket.

My jacket arrived this morning and I've just tried it on. It is absolutely superb - pistachio colour well represented by image, and very subtle. The quality and finish is great, the fabric is a good weight with a mesh lining and plenty of velcro on the storm flap. Hood is detachable and there are various toggles to provide a snug fit. I am a wide-shouldered size 14 and bought a large, which is perfect - tried it on with a lightweight hoody underneath and there was still plenty of room so ideal for layering. I'm tall and it doesn't quite reach underneath my bum, but then I wasn't expecting it to - the image is accurate. I can't get over what a great bargain this is - I wish I needed another in a different colour!
