Bought some Bridgedales specifically for walking and liked them so much i though I would see what other products they make.
I bought a pair of the Metro socks and haven't looked back! Comfortable enough to wear inside normal footwear yet still great for going out walking. They give enough support on the heel and other areas on the sole of your foot.
