I bought this as a spare bed over x-mas. It inflated in 5 minutes and no problem with the built in foot pump. My family used it over the night and was extremely comfortable. Using a duvet on top to lie on will be good as it avoid cold air from coming up through the mattress.
I recommend this product if you are looking for a value for money spare bed which is easy to use and store.

well the past few months i was sleeping on a sofa bed then i decided to take the offer for this airbed and WOW - i seen loads of bad reports but i must say as a genuine buyer this is pukka , i slept on it since 3 nights ago , i had to refill the bed alittle the second day but apart from that its pukka , its really comfortable but maybe need to be a little longer as im 6ft but i still get full coverage , the price is amazing , at first it was funny cause i was pumping it up with the black cap off after finding it in the box i say it took 10 minutes to fully inflate a real winner , i now have it in my bedroom and as its my bedroom/cinema room i spend hours just laying watching hd movies on my hd projector and i dont get disconfort like before a real winner thankyou amazon oh and little big planet for 16 quid too we all winners on amazon lol

We've owned a single Gelert airbed previously without an inflator which did the job but nothing special. The double airbed with inflator though is a much better product and better value for money.
It's a good size, more solid when inflated and with the built in inflator, a lot easier to handle.

I bought this in the summer of 08 and used it for one long weekend. Found it incredibly weird and difficult to inflate. Then it would deflate after 24 hours and need re-inflation. I sent it back to the supplier and they seemed unsurprised by my complaints, so I got a full refund. I have opted for something a little more expensive now. Don't understand how people use it and find it reasonable...

I got the airbed delivered this morning, the quality is there and there is a punture repair patch as well. I found it was inflated within 5 minutes. Instead of using my foot I used my hand to pump it up via the internal pump. I laughed at some of the reviews which said it took them over half an hour to put it up, all I can say is WIMPS!
