Customer Reviews: This is not a review July 9, 2008 Alan Stockbridge (Tuebingen, Germany) The 2 reviews shown for this film are for the wrong Shanghai Express! To the best of my knowledge Marlene Dietrich didn't star in too many martial arts films. I'm planning to watch the film (the right one) in the next week or three, and maybe I'll write a review when I get some time again. This is one of Rothrock's first movies and she shows her potential when she finally gets the chance. The storyline with Samo as an outcast with good intentions trying to make good is not very original but is done in a good way for a film with such a miniscule budget. The fights are what you have come to expect with originality, timing and occasional superhuman movement. On the whole it is very believable and a must have for any martial arts collection
