This is a great video as it shows all the work involved behind the scenes when Thriller was filmed. MJ is so young and really cute and it's interesting to see how the make up and the costumes and everything else was put together. The unfortunate thing is that the quality is not excellent as it was filmed years ago and some of the images are a little dark, but overall I would still give it a 5 star and it is something that you should add to your collection. It's really woth buying. I loved it.

As soon as I realized I could get back this item I had generously given away 6 years ago(Michael, forgive me!),I immediately felt the happiest woman ever! This used (really?) VHS is not only in perfect conditions, but has also the power to send you back to the magic 80s. And what can be a better witness of those years than this Michael Jackson's legendary video? My naive and enthusiastic expectations were immediately fulfilled since the very moment I saw the package (absolutely new!)but my deepest joy for a dream come true again was actually satisfied by the very good quality of the tape. I warmly invite those M.J.'s fans who still miss "The making of Thriller" and like to save money to trust the "used items" proposed by Amazon.co.

My sister and I stayed up late to watch the Thriller video when it was first shown on television. We then rushed out and bought 'The Making of Thriller' as soon as it was released. The VHS tape was sadly lost over the years. I think I lent it to one friend too many! But I always thought I would buy it again when it was released on DVD. I am amazed that this is still not available on DVD. In fact I have been waiting for Michael Jackson/Jackson 5/The Jacksons live concerts to be released on DVD but this has not happened. Does anyone know why? So I bought this VHS tape again instead. Good thing I still have my video player. This video is still fantastic after all this time. Michael was a true professional and had such passion and commitment for his art you could not help but admire him. Note to the powers that be: Please release this and the BAD tour on DVD soon. His fans would love that!

This is FAB! I love MJ at the best of times, but he really surpassed himself with the Thriller album and video. "The Making of Thriller" is a great way to see Michael in his former glory, before the baby-dangling, the surgery and the funfair. He's so cute too!

This video is awesome, gives a detailed look into the making of one of the most famous music videos ever, 'Thriller.' Including dance rehearsals, interviews, doing the make-up for Mike (which took hours!) etc. I'm a huge MJ fan myself, and have collected a whole heap of his stuff, so most of this video I have seen before - but if you're a new fan, or a casual viewer, it's great to watch what goes on behind the makings of music videos and what goes into it. But even if you are an MJ collector, grab this just to complete the collection. Apparently, they're rather hard to find, so make sure you get a copy!
