Brilliant video - our baby loved this! November 30, 2005 I found the Baby Einstein videos we got to be uninspiring for our baby (and at times a bit mercenary?) and after being impressed with Baby Bright 1, we decided to give the second volume a try. Our 1 year old took to it immediately, and it's her favourite video.Every day she's dragging us towards the video player begging us to put it on. She seems to relate to the animated babies very well and joins in with a lot of the things that are going on on screen. The animation is decent and the environment surrounding the babies in the video seems exciting and nurturing at the same time. The video is well-structured and skillfully divided into various sections of development. It's episodic, so your baby could grab a section here or there if time is shorter, or watch the whole thing through too. There are also small similarities in the way the sections are framed, which help babies make connections between (for example) the shape of an object in the 'colour' section and the colour of an object in the 'shape' section. A lot of thought has gone into the production of this video and you can see the numerous layers of baby development that have been brilliantly and subtley woven into the programme. I'd recommend this video to any parents with babies (unless they have an aversion to digitally-animated tots).
Wouldn't be without it !! January 14, 2004 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
My 5 month old son was bought baby bright 2 as a gift and I have never looked back. Baby bright 2 teaches colours, shapes, halfs and wholes, large and small with each section seperate. My son who was a grizzles would sit enthralled so I could have a few moments peace. Now at 17 months he still will drop everything to watch Baby Bright 2 and is now trying to repeat the words. A fantastic video for mother and child!!
A big hit with our daughter June 9, 2003 R. Beedall (Ireland) We received the tape as a gift for our daughter when she was 4 months old, although now 21 months she still insists on watching it every day. It means 30 very precious minutes of relative peace and quiet every afternoon for her mum, so it's worth 5 stars if only for that. We've tried other tapes such "Baby Bright" and "Baby Einstein", but they've not had the same success.

Our son has been watching Baby Bright 2 for a couple of months now, and has been totally captivated with it since day 1. I would whole-heartedly recommend this video to anyone with a young baby (ours started watching it when he was about three months old). Initially the video may only interest them for 10 minutes or so, but now he watches it from end to end before bed-time and is actually anticipating the next events.
