Great video! January 3, 2006 MS K E Doucet (Edinburgh) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I grew up on Sesame Street and bought this for my 15 month old with some trepidation about introducing the television into her world. However, it's been a real success. Each episode is 30 mins long, which is an ideal amount of time for a child to be 'plugged in', and the whole family sings along with each other. It actually keeps this wiggly kid still so in my opinion, its worth its weight in gold. I definitely recommend this for exhausted parents needing 5 minutes peace and wanting to ensure their children are watching something worthy.
Great songs make this a must-buy video for your children October 8, 2000 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This video is Sesame Street at its best. The songs featured in the "Sing, Hoot & Howl" episode have an animal theme and they are imaginatively written and vry catchy. There are sublime moments of surreal comedy in "Baa Baa Bamba" and "Proud to be a Cow", and "I'm an Aardvark" has been a family favourite for years. "Sing Along", the first episode, is a litle more downbeat, involving characters singing around a piano, but the songs are still very enjoyable and include the classic "Rubber Ducky". Youngsters will find them easy to join in with after the umpteenth time of viewing, and they will want to watch it that often. I heartily recommend this for all the family.
