They don't grow August 18, 2010 Neasa I bought 3 different "Grow it" products as stocking fillers last Christmas for my sisters - Grow your own Tea/Coffee, Carnivorous Plants, and Bonsai tree. We would all be well used to growing trees, fruits and vegetables and NOT ONE some from the three varieties germinated. We were careful to follow the directions exactly and were excited to see the results. Needless to say we were disappointed and I was a somewhat embarrassed. They are a great idea, but don't work. Please don't waste your money on these products.
Don't waste your money June 24, 2010 Beat (Liverpool) This product contradicts itself. It gives you compost discs to grow your carnivorous plants in as these are full of nutrients to help plants grow, yet the growing book says that carnivorous plants will only grow in bogs were the soil lacks nutrients. Why then give you compost discs? If you buy these seeds from a reliable seller they will tell you that these seeds can only prosper in the right soil such as peat.
NO SEEDS!! June 21, 2010 John A. Kennedy 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Could not believe that this gift i bought had no seeds in it at all. So basically it is worthless after me paying for it. Total rubbish!
No grow May 18, 2010 Rebecca Mitchell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I planted mine 2 months ago and I'm still waiting for any growth. Obviously not every seed germinates but to only provide 5 means the chances are remarkably slim, a waste of money.
waste of money! April 29, 2010 D. P. Crabbe (uk) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
barely enough seeds for all 5 pots and after 6 weeks still waiting for them to germinate! Buy a big pack of seeds from somewhere else! Works out much cheaper and you're more likely to get seedlings.
