Disappointing June 9, 2007 S. Charkin 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We have had two of these flasks and both have broken: The first lost its vacuum after a few months and so no longer acted as an insulator. The second has just broken as the stopper has jammed in the lid. This has been happening over the past few weeks and an attempt to undo it with a pair of pliers has now resulted in the stopper disintegrating. I think this is due to a poor design of the threads in the stopper which are prone to crossing.
Thermos 1.8L flask March 20, 2007 Anon 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
We thought we were buying a quality product, but have been disappointed. 1. The liquid did not keep as hot as in another smaller 1L Aladdin flask that we have. 2. The leak proof twist and pour stopper was very fiddly and 3. The handle has just broken! The flask is 2 years old, and it clearly states there is a 10 year guarantee, but Amazon deny it and say it is guaranteed for one year, although the 10 year guarantee statement is on their own web site.
Big enough for the thirstiest drinker... November 27, 2005 Paul Robinson (Manchester, UK) 10 out of 12 found this review helpful
I've only used mine for the cricket during the summer, but it was able to supply a whole day's worth of cold fruit juices which made me more than happy. It's a little fiddly to clean, but that's not unique to this product. It's also quite bulky, and so you need to make sure you have the space for it in the bag, but is well worth bringing along for the journey.
