I bought this item for a skypephone with a mini USB connection. My USB is a symetrical plug, which is wider at the bottom and has the corners bevelled inwards at the top.
This connector is rectangular on one side with a bevelled corner on the other and was therefore not compatible. Photos of the plug ends themselves would be useful to avoid this confusion.
Difficult to rate item as I couldn't use it!
