A great little device and all for under 30.00. Plug and play and appears as a drive on your PC. No set up required whatsoever. Works happily either horizontal or vertical with the stand supplied. Cant understand the "noisey" comments by a couple of reviewers, the thing is all but silent. Only one minus point supplied with european type power supply plug but easily overcome with a simple adaptor. Can confirm it is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. All in all great value and works well.

I bought this over a week ago and I am still waiting to hear any noise from it at all !
If it was not for the neon light I would not know it was working. And it works perfectly.
So far I have downloaded over 50 CD's of music and synced them to Windows Media Player. Non stop music. Definitely recommended.

amazon are great at providing good quality items at affordable prices and this is no exception easy to use and set up a very good external hard drive ideal for use with a laptop would recomend for all.

great little drive with enough storage for reasonable backups/media files etc.
formatted it with ext2 and it works very nicely with my server as a backup drive.
uses little energy as it powers down when not in use but is quick to get up to speed again when accessed. it's also quiet and runs cool.
