Does what it says on the tin September 7, 2008 C. N. Russell (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use mine to extend a keyboard with built in USB hub across my room from a shuttle media centre front USB2 port. Works flawlessly. Ignore the chap who says it won't work.
Miscalculation on extending your existing cable length. August 26, 2008 D. F. Osborne (N. E. Lincs., UK) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
Belkin claims, printed on the rear of this item, that this cable can extend your existing USB cable by 10 feet. Since this cable is 5 metres, it is by my reckoning, equivalent to 16 feet which is the maximum length before data starts petering out. This means that with this cable extending your own, you face possible loss of data.Buy a shorter extension cable or better still purchase an active extender or repeater cable.
Well Worth It! August 19, 2008 Mr. G. Korossy (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Great product, sturdy and provides very good connectivity. I use it to control my DSLR and it works very well with a quick response time. If you need a long USB extension, consider this one, its of good quality and well worth a few pounds. If ordering from Amazon be prepared for this item to be delivered in a box you could fit about 20 of these in.
Does exactly what is says on the tin. August 11, 2008 J. Ratsey-Woodroffe (Cobh, County Cork, Eire.) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Great product, very well built with tight connections. I've used these to extend an IR keyboard / mouse receiver & a Microsoft Media Centre receiver with no problems at all. I've also used this to connect my joystick so I can relax on the sofa and still play games.
