How can Microsoft sell a 20 drive for a RRP of 99? December 21, 2008 A. C. Hawkins 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
How can Microsoft sell a 20 drive for 99 (RRP)? That's an 80% mark up! Aren't Trading Standards in uproar about this? Surely they must be!
Why the hell is it so expensive here? December 3, 2008 Stewart Jonston (N.Ireland) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I dont undertand why anyone would pay just over 130 for this when u can order it in places like Argos and almost anywhere else for only 90, its bloody mental!
don't waste your cash!! November 24, 2008 D. Shek (newcastle, uk) 1 out of 14 found this review helpful
why pay for this! add 50 and buy yourself a nintendo wii. no need for such a hard drive on xbox as demo's, come and go, the arcade games are naff, you can only rent videos via live, you can't have movies on harddrive like on the ps3. Music and movies can be streamed via a pc through your network so meaning the extra space isn't warranted. all you can put on the hd is demo's, trailers and arcade games so that doesn't really warrant buying this drive. if it was possible to have movies then it would be great. on my ps3 i have over 40 divx movies so that makes sence.
Far too expensive November 21, 2008 N. Whatley (UK) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Having bought a 500GB hard drive for my ps3 for only 70 I think MS are taking the mick charging people 90 for a hard drive with less than a quarter of the space, so I would not recommend buying this until they are reduced to a more reasonable price, as I was looking to upgrade my xbox360 as you can now save games to hard drive until I saw the price of this. But if your a die hard xbox360 fan then this is the best space and price your going to get for now. (unless you void warranty and take apart the plastic drive on your 360 and insert a new drive from within, but im not going to say how to do that and if you do, buy a back up cheap 20gb drive incase it needs to go back for its weekly/monthly/annual repairs as your warranty will be fine with a normal hard drive).
Why Not November 17, 2008 Mr. Steven R. Walker (Peterborugh, England) 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was searching to get a new big hard drive for when the new avatars come out, and you can copy your games from the disk to the xbox 360 so that i don't have to take the disks along with me. And say this, and the bad 3 stars, i overlooked thinking that it was faulty and not a proper Microsoft product, but as i reviewed the products reviews i saw that some people (ages ago) thought it was too expensive and wrote a bad review. Therefore i bought the product for Christmas 2008/2009 and it was great, i could install/copy all my games to the hard drive. "lets just say i was using the rental store allot that year" and no i wasn't cheating the system i bought the games afterwards as well its just a longer rental :)
