i ordered this bag for my fujifilm s1000fd. the camera fits in it really well. it has room for batteries, sd cards and USB cable. a good quality roomy real leather bag for a fantastic price. i would definitely recommend this bag.

I echo the points about the quality and value that previous reviewers of this product have made. However, I did not realise how substantially bigger my S9600 must be compared with those who describe the case as "commodious".
Both this bag, and the more sculptured, more expensive, case, are listed on the Fuji web site as suitable for a S9600. Given the commodious comments, I assumed it would be big enough for both my camera AND the WL-FXS6 wide angle converter lens. It is not!
To get the camera in I had to remove the divider in the main body of the bag and even then it has to be pushed in, back first and lens uppermost. You can't do it lens first unless you are prepared to drop the camera strap into the bag first, as there is no way you'll be able to squeeze the strap in past the body if you do it the other way round. Either way, you won't get more than some XD cards, or something equally flat, in the pocket in the lid of the bag as the lens comes higher than the zip to the lid.
The converter lens is wider and deeper than the pocket on the front to allow you to carry it there, though, as others have said, the pocket is big enough for batteries and a filter.
Nor is this a case for quick extraction of the camera. The soft leather means the case deforms as you pull on the twin zippers round the lid. It becomes a two-handed job as you struggle to grab a bit of the bag so that you can get the necessary tension before you can pull on the zipper tab.
Given that I can't fit the lens in, if it wasn't for price, I might well have been better off getting sculptured case for my S9600.

A very useful case with adjustable velcro insert fits my camera perfect. Plus another pocket inside to hold batteries and the large front pocket which has 2 xd card slots. 10 out of 10.

Very impressed with this leather camera case, excellent value for money.
The photo doesn't really do it justice, my S9600 stows away just fine & I can even fit a compact in the front pocket as well. Plenty room for spare batteries & memory cards.

I have just purchased this item and am delighted with it. It is very commodious (so do not buy it if you want a dinky handheld case!) and holds my Fujifilm S5800, 2 boxed sets of spare batteries, two SD cards, my Cybershot (in its case!!!) and there is still room for more!!! It has a shoulder strap and a belt loop and I consider it very secure since the top zips shut and then has a foldover flap which is secured by noisy Velcro! When on holiday it will double up as a small handbag to hold a small purse, lippy and a comb! Perfick!!! A quality product at a very reasonable price and certainly not limited to Fuji camera owners. Would be a good SLR camera bag too!
