Exasperating September 17, 2008 K. Smith (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My brother bought this item and after using it for a couple of hours, and after recharging it, the headset refused to work again. Naturally he went back and exchanged it for another only to be face with the exact same dilemma. He exchanged it for another a third time but the same problem only repeated itself. In the end he just got his money back. I'm not sure why but this wireless headset, or at least the three my brother had tried in a row, seems to just die after recharging via the Xbox. While I can't say that this is a flaw in every same headset, Ii can't give it anything more then one star either. My advice: keep the receipt.
excellent September 1, 2008 Ms. A. Mosley 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
i would strongly reccomend this product it is very good it is better than wired one because there is no wire simple. but there is a couple of down sides you hav 2 charge it this isn't annoying its just when its charging you cant talk but thats what the wired one is for when your wireless one is charging you can use the wired one plus it only has a 8 metre range but this is good in my case because i'm only 2 metres away from my xbox 360 but overall i would recomment this product to anyone that hates wires (me)
very useful August 25, 2008 Jono (middlesbrough) this piece of equipment is essential for any xbox live fanatic. after my 2nd wired headset broke i thought maybe it was time for a change but after reading some reviews about the wirelss headset not working with older controllers! but with my controller which i got when i got my 360 the day it came out works fine with the wireless headset the quality of sound is alot better and charging time takes only a small amount of time a definate purchase
Let`s get one thing clear....... June 21, 2008 Derv (Birmingham, UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
...... the wireless headset is NOT as clear as the wired one. I bought my first wireless headset, based on reports of better sound clarity and the convenience of no wires. BOTH (more of that in a moment) of my headsets haven`t sounded any clearer than the wired one. The reason I say both of my headsets is that I`m on my second one, the first one stopped charging after a few weeks of use. My second headset had just failed, with the same fault. My friend also bought a wireless headset at the same time as I bought my first one. His stopped charging about a week ago, at least he had a few months use before having to return it. I`ve got a wireless headset for my mobile phone, which only cost about 12. Why can`t Microsoft not get a headset, costing nearly 3 times as much, to be reliable ? The unreliability of the XBOX360 itself is almost forgiveable, as it is a lot of hi-tech in a small box, but surely a company like Microsoft should be able to design a decent wireless headset.
