I too also used to use Trend and like it, but left the fold to save cash last year.
However, contrary to the other opinion, I find this new version still works well and is much less heavy on the system that F-Secure was, which I have now ditched. I have two PC's, one a 1.8GHz machine around 6 years old running XP and it does not seem to cause that any problem.
It looks nice, has some handy tools, but in the end just gets on and does its job. SPAM filter gets about 90%.
I won't say any more, because you can try in free for a month if you visit their website.

I have been using PC-Cillin since version 2005, and have used version 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Version 2008 runs very slowly even on 750MB ram. It crashes with cfctlcom.exe error messages once two days approx.
Tech support website obviously was no help. There is no option for the above scenario at all. Email replies from trend gave standard instructions to Uninstall use their cleaners and reinstall that made no difference - Afterall I was a longstanding customer using their product to upgrade to the next version! -HUH!
I have two options go back to 2007 or try another Antivius
This is a shame.
