Saved me from my own "secure empty trash" folly December 26, 2008

I wiped every photo off my Mac with an ill thought out delete followed by a secure empty trash, including my daughter's first year of life.....not popular at home.
Very easy to use (you do need an external hard drive and try to use your machine as little as possible to maximise the recovery). Brought back fairly much everything and more, including all the previously deleted images and various odd bitmaps and jpegs that had been embedded in documents and websites. I had a lot of hours of sifting to work out which images were the ones I actually wanted. It won't return the file structure but that's the price you pay for stupidity.
Very very much worth the cash. Might even suggest having this stashed in your desk drawer for 'just in case'.
