Bought this a gift....... FORGET IT.....This product came as a cd in a dvd box printed by someone in their living room. Even the label was smudged! Utterly disgraceful to advertise this product as a boxed original..... no manual, no box, no instructions. Buy from the official Acoustica site....

This product could be good or not I'll never no. I could not get wav files to line up without time lag. Now this may be a common problem, but I then tried the same files with different software packages and had no problems.
I tried the on line support, which was speedy, but received no concrete help. I fired another email their way explaining that other software had no problems and enquired about their refund procedure. Things have been quiet on the response front!!
My advice is stay well clear.

I don't know anything about the product because, when i recieved it in the post, the packaging was not that of the original shown on the acoustica website! I can't believe that amazon themselves would promote a item which is so blatently a pirate copy of some kind. The box that came was white (suposed to be black/grey) and it had a picture of a guitar on it which isnt even on the actual box!!!
DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! get the one off the acoustica website!

i think Mixcraft is the best home recording software available.why? i have used many other similar types of program but they aren"t as easy to use and understand as this.As long as your soundcard is good enough(i.e.not onboard sound )you can be making music instantly.editing sounds is its speciality.The support is amazing and fast.You spend all your time making music and very little scratching your head which keeps your mind open for creativity and being spontanious with ideas.buy it.

At the typical age I am i wanted to start a band so I bought a mixing desk and purchased a copy of mixcraft the software is great its easy to use good sounds but not to many its more of a recording band software and it has not let me down some people have said they have got worms and bugs from the software but I have not encountered any so far plus this mixies it down to mp3 and wich it dosnt metion it mixies it down to the i Tunes format but a great pieace of software apart from one thing wich is hard to explain but I past my way round that by looking online but its somthing to do with recording.
