I only bought it when my baby was 3 months but it has been great. My duaghter loves sitting in it and will be amused for an hour or so by watching the toys. I have set it up in my kitchen so I finish all my cooking and tidying up while she is still awake and 'busy'.
Could not live without!! October 31, 2007 G. Hawkins (London, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We were given this product from a friend of ours. It has been brilliant. My daughter is now 7 months old and still using it as a chair to relax in when tired or we feed her in it. We have used it from birth. Its great for helping fractious babies go to sleep. I am gutted that there is not a 6-12 months version as she loves it. The only down side is the space that it takes up. Also it only uses batteries, and would be helpful if it came with a mains adaptor. We did wire it up to one which we got in Argos as it saves money on batteries.
Saviour! May 24, 2007 Mrs. Billi Street (London, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This swing is a Godsend. My 5 week old daughter absolutely loves it. She will either lie awake, perfectly content, or sleep soundly until it's time to eat - either way, it easily allows me to get stuff done when formerly I had to hold her for much of the day. I wouldn't be without it. It's not cheap but it's money well spent.
THIS IS A GODSEND! April 20, 2006 Ms. Z. Pearson (England) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I would recommend this for any parents. My baby is six weeks old and has enjoyed swinging in this swing since birth. The mobile, lights and music keep their attention when they are awake. It is also good for sending babies to sleep in when they won't settle. It is quite expensive as it is only for 0-6 months approximately, but it is well worth it.
It's a God Send but not if you need portable!!!! April 18, 2006 H. Allan (Scotland) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I was given this item as a present from my Mother in Law as my child had very bad colic and would not sleep for anything or anyone. This was the only thing my child would go to sleep in and even after the colic passed at 3months my child still likes to be put in it to have a nap! If he get fed up swinging from side to side i change it and he swings like a proper swing and within 5mins my child is asleep. He loves watching the changing lights in the globe and the stuffed toys that spin around like they are swimming and are bright and eye catching. I can change it from music to rain noises or crashing waves this has made this item still usable as he doesn't know what he will hear next and because its all like white noise apart from the music side he just drifts of to sleep. I will be lost when my son is to big for the item which is quite soon. The down side to this item is my son was not able to reach the sliding toy bar on the removable play tray until now(5 1/2 months) and he has only a couple of weeks left before he is to heavy for item( max 20lb )also the item is is very bulky and does take up some room in the house but it can be folded(only side ways) So if you need to have something portable that doesn't take up much room this is not the item for you, buy the smaller folding Fisher Price swings that will be better if you need something a bit more portable but the down side to them is they do not have as much options to keep your child occupied as this one.
