Swinging Success!! June 22, 2008 Daddy Monkey (Kent, UK) We have used this swing for both our children. It is compact compared to many swings on the market which allows you to transport it to different rooms around the house. It was particularly useful when it came to soothing our first child who hated being put down, allowing some much needed chill time in the bath or shower whilst still being able to see her (she was guaranteed to fall asleep everytime). The position of the seat and toys allows the baby to see more than many bouncers and (dare I say it) means that when you need to get on with something you can sit the swing infront of the colourful images produced by the TV, distracting the child. The lights, music and swinging action work well although the toys are a little sparse - fortunately you can easily clip on other toys to help entertain. One more handy point - the seat cover removes relatively easily and we had no trouble washing it in the machine on a gentle cycle.
Fab-for baby and mum February 8, 2008 mommyof2honeys (Sweden) I had this for my daughter and sold it when I was expecting my son and I got a cradle swing as a gift-------big mistake!!!!! This is so convenient--I folded it up and dragged it to rellies or out to the garden. My daughter was colicky and looooved this swing. It has lovely lights and melodies and allowed me to take a bath (sweet luxury)- I would just carry it to the bathroom and let her relax (would usually fall asleep) and I could actually bathe. The cradle swing looks great but is cumbersome, not portable and actually less entertaining in my opinion. Save your money and buy this.
This kept me sane January 11, 2005 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
My youngest son is a very clingy baby, this chair allowed him to feel comforted when he was not in my arms and on very bad nights he even slept in it!
