Had one of the old George Foreman's, but found cleaning it a pain. Bought this one a couple of days ago and it's brilliant. Same great food, no fuss for cleaning. Recommend it.

George Foreman 12617 Next Grilleration Health Grill with Removable Plates
I have been using George foreman grills for years and found them extremely useful but difficult to keep clean so I decided to buy this one with removeable plates. Big mistake! It is so poor at heating up that you have to shut the lid to get anything to cook. The bottom plate does not produce enough heat to crisp bacon and is truly pathetic.
There may be a problem with the design because the removeable plates are not a tight fit and the whole thing seems loose and rattly.Poor show.
I have unearthed my previous super lean mean grilling machine and have crispy bacon once again.

I have had a George Foreman before, but cleaning it could be a bit of a hassle until I got this one. It is very easy to use and extremely easy to clean.
It is a great price for this model and overall I love it!

Product good, but the lid hotplate died after 7 months. Salton customer service did not want to assist at all - not even offering a repair. Fully entitled to a replacement or repair but kept telling me to contact Amazon. They could not fathom that Amazon are just their agent and the contract for sale of the goods are with them directly (as per their invoice!).
Compare this to when I first bought the product and it arrived faulty. Upon telephoning Salton, they sent me a replacement that arrived the following morning with a postage label to send back the faulty one. They recently denied that this was EVER their policy!
Do not buy from Salton - you will have no comeback or customer service if one of these goes wrong - clearly looking at the reviews many do!
