It's Possessed!!!! October 7, 2008 B. Southwell (Hants, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yes, it's cheap, yes it does fantastic jacket potatoes but after 4 months it developed a mind of its' own. After the beep it automatically starts up again for 2.05 minutes. If you open the door to stir or to start it up again it doesn't work again for the rest of the day. Daewoo were helpful and happy to replace through Amazon. Amazon were not. Now got to send it back for re-fund. We shall see how straight forward that proves. Now I need a new microwave......
Cheap but .... August 28, 2008 G. J. Weeks (London) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Cheap but after 9 months it decided to have a mind of its own. The controls did not clear. Switch it off and it will start operating un prompted when reconnected. The makers say it is up to Amazon to replace it. Not satisfactory.
Spot on for the cash! December 15, 2007 Auraindigo (Newcastle) 15 out of 17 found this review helpful
Looks good, works good, very easy to set up and use. Instructions are clear and concise. The one missing star is because the outer casing to the right of the unit vibrates when cooking which in turn produces excess noise. If you put your hand on this area then the noise level is reduced ... not a big deal though but I mention it as it`s louder than the unit it is replacing. Something that could be worked on during manufacture I reckon (if y`all watching Daewoo). 40 quid, it`s a steal as it really does look superb, the controls being hidden under the door so all you see is the silver casing with a reflective black freeform sweeping door, the digital clock in the corner is an added bonus too. Cooks an Asda curry pot to perfection!
