Senseo quick coffee January 8, 2009

I bought this little machine for my boyfriend as christmas gift, and we both absolutely love it. It is not the most tasteful coffee in the world, my humble opinion after working for over 2years as a Baristar, but you wouldn't expect it anyway. Senseo is perfect to for the quick mess free coffee in the morning.
Just one last thing, i went to germany over Christmas and the choice on senseo coffee pads overed in a standard supermarket is overwhelming in comparison to the UK. I would strongly recommend to get to refresh any connection to germany and get a hundred different coffee tastes

Bought for my wife this Christmas and I have to be honest, we are really pleasantly surprised. For the money, this produces exceptionally good coffee.
Pods are not especially expensive and you get a good cup full of coffee (not like the little Cafeteria affairs where you get a thimble full).
Now found an internet based supplier and have ordered a variety selection of coffee pods (228 for 35) which I'm really looking forward to trying.
Quite possibly the best thing I've ever bought from Amazon.

I have been an Amazon UK clent for years and I am very happy with their fast service and "mistake free" service. This Christmas I decided to buy a Philips Senseo HD7816/50 to a good friend. I have had it sent to her house directly and intended to let her open it on the 23rd evening after dinner.
When I arrived her house I found the machine was not packed in a carton box as usual, but instead inside a very ugly green plastic bag sealed with hot vapour. I was very embarrassed even more when she opened the ugly plastic bag because the box of the Philips Senseo was half damaged with torn corners and the box was half opened. I apologized and told her I would return it but she was polite and insisted to keep it.
I am really surprised Amazon UK has made such a mistake. I have not lost faith but I hope Amazon UK will pay more attention to the state of their products especially around Christmas time when people ordered gifts for their friends and family.

No doubt about it this makes a really good cup of coffee, the design is pretty too it leaked at first when making a mug sized drink, but I think this was down to my user error, as since then its been fine. it is really quick and easy to use, and the coffee comes out nice and hot, I am really happy with my purchase and would definatley recommend it to others. Please note that when I first reviewed this i only gave 3 stars because of the leak, but now I see its fine, but I cant change the stars- I would now rate it a 5 star product. Thanks for reading :)

delivered quickly and all in one peice, simple to use and very easy to clean. nothing complicated about it. pods make great coffee. size great, doesnt take up to much space, value for money!!
