I have used a bosch, a moulinex and a tefal, but they all pale into insignificance compared to this philips which I bought from Amazon on offer last year. Its continuous steam really does iron brilliantly, so if you are like me and iron loads of trouses and shirts this is definately the iron for you because it so effortless. The continuous steam flow does meant that the water runs out quite quickly, and I would say if you live in a high limescale area you would really neeed to clean very regularly, or you will be like me buying a new one after just 18 months of use.

I'm usually wary of irons with a constant steam outlet, but this one really works like a dream! It does exactly what you want from an iron on easy iron shirts all the way up to the toughest linens!
If, like me you're a last minute ironer this is definately the iron for you, getting you de-creased and looking good to that all important party right on time!
A real belter!

I bought the philips azur because it was on offer, after dropping my last iron (another philips) I have to say i have always used the philips irons and found them great. They have always lasted for years.This is the best one yet. It irons with ease and takes out all the creases as irons should. Even on the hardest fabrics. Buy in confidence.

I originally looked at this iron as it was being promoted at a reduced price. I am so pleased I decided to buy it. This iron actually irons! I have used a much more expensive iron for a year or so and it has been usless.
As much as I dislike ironing this little gem has almost made the task a pleasure. It removes creases from denim jeans and bone dry linen with so little effort.
When I initially removed it from the packaging it did feel a little on the heavy side, but please don't let that put you off as this is hardly noticable when in use.
A great buy at a great price.

My expensive tefal iron had gone back to the repairers for the 2nd time in its 1st year. I bought the philips iron as a replacement. I have to say that this iron is pleasure to use, at half the price it is more efficent than the tefal iron. My only complaint is that it uses a lot of water and the flap where you add water is sometimes difficult to open.
