I bought this last year as a base for my Christmas tablecentre and it looked lovely. Would look great over a coloured undercloth or on a polished wood side table. Use it to display a small tree or a collection of Christmas treats. The smaller size is better for a traditional table mat if your dining table is small. It is thick enough to protect good wood and doesn't slip in use. Looks lovely with a cluster of silver votives and different height candles grouped together. A really usefull festive buy.
